The Parking Space
San Agustin Church has limited parking spaces available due to ongoing construction, particularly started on January 2024. After construction is complete, only bridal cars will be permitted to enter the patio during weddings. A “drop and go” policy will be implemented at the Patio entrance for other guests. While parking may be limited on-site, there are ample parking options available nearby, ensuring convenience for your guests. This initiative will promote walking, strolling, and the use of horse-drawn carriages, allowing visitors to fully appreciate the heritage and history of Intramuros.

- Contact the Parish Office: The first step in booking your wedding at San Agustin Church is to contact the Parish Office. You can reach them through their official website or by phone. Please ensure that you communicate with the church staff at least two months before your desired wedding date.

- Pay the Deposit: Once you’ve finalized the details, you will need to pay a down payment of Php 15,000 to secure your wedding date. Please note that this deposit is non-refundable. (Disclaimer: This rate is last MAY 2024)
- Submit Necessary Documents: Provide the required documents (according to San Agustin church brochure), such as your:
- New copy of baptismal and confirmation certification of groom and bride from the church where they were baptized and confirmed (certificates are valid for six months from the date of issue), with the annotation “for marriage purpose only” to be submitted two months before the wedding.
- Marriage license to be acquired from the civil registry of marriage of the city or municipality of either the groom or the bride (the license is valid for 120 days or 4 months). A license issued outside Manila should be submitted together with a valid ID or billing statement with address as proof of the groom’s or bride’s residence. If civilly married, a certified true copy of Marriage Contract from the National Statistics Office should be submitted two months before the wedding.
- Certificate of freedom to marry: (Filipino Citizen living abroad for more than 6 months, to be secured from their parish abroad)
- Canonical interview of the groom and the bride to be conducted two months before the wedding date.
- A certificate of attendance in the pre-Cana seminar or marriage preparation program or other programs related to marriage.
- Ecclesiastical banns and permit to be announced for three consecutive Sundays in the parish of the groom and of the bride. (The forms will be provided and filled up during the interview.)
- List of names and addresses of sponsors (Ninongs and Ninangs). A minimum of one pair and a maximum of six pairs are allowed.
- Widower and windows must present the death certificates of their deceased partner.
- For wedding anniversaries, bring a certified copy of your catholic marriage contract and come for an interview by the parish priest/assistant. Parish Priest.
- If a military man, certification of freedom to marry from the higher headquarters or office.
- Couples whose marriage has been declared null and avoided must present the document of nullity from the competent matrimonial tribunal and a letter of approval from the archdiocesan chancery office.
5. ) Wedding Fees: Kindly settle all outstanding fees at least two weeks before your scheduled ceremony. This will help you streamline the process and avoid any last-minute complications. San Agustin’s Wedding Service is Php 45,000 (Rate for MAY 2024) with the inclusion of a Flower Decoration, Royal Red Carpet, Organist and Singer, 18th Century Chandeliers, Ushers/Usherettes and Altar server, Industrial Fans, Priest Celebrant, Registration of Marriage Contract.
